Board of Directors
As a Ponchatoula native, I was raised with a passion and fire for my local community. I attended school at St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Ponchatoula High School. As a recent graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, I received my Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. During my tenure at SLU, I worked for well-known historian, Dr. Samuel C. Hyde. In addition, I recently interned at the Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Through my work in school and my internship, I have gained the skills and abilities necessary for my current position. My experience in grant writing, event planning, organization, leadership, community service, fundraising, and public relations have already proven to be beneficial to my efforts with the development of the program! And as I dive deeper into my position as director, my love for this city has grown deeper and stronger. I am very excited and hopeful that this program will reshape Downtown Ponchatoula and create a stronger community for all of our residents. I have big plans for us…so get ready for a “berry” fun journey Ponchatoula!
